Terms of Service

Last updated: 2025

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the LossStack platform (“Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Platform Description

LossStack provides documentation, workflow, measurement, and intelligence tools for insurance and property professionals, including claims management, field inspection tools, AI claim intelligence (Echo), roof and interior measurement (Atlas), electronic signatures (Sign), dispatch, restoration documentation, client portal, and team administration.

LossStack is a documentation and workflow platform. It does not provide legal, coverage, claims-determination, or licensed appraisal advice. All decisions based on Platform output remain the responsibility of the licensed professional using the Platform.

3. Accounts and Access

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account.
  • Organizations are responsible for access granted to their team members.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Submit false, fabricated, or fraudulent claim information.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to circumvent access controls or security measures.
  • Scrape or extract Platform data or content without authorization.
  • Use Echo or other AI features to fabricate claim facts or misrepresent claim conditions.
  • Submit claims for properties or incidents you are not authorized to manage.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of information, photos, documents, and data you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant LossStack a limited license to store, process, and display that content as necessary to operate the Platform and fulfill your requests (including Atlas measurement orders and Echo analysis).

6. Atlas Measurement Reports

Atlas roof and interior measurement reports are subject to structured human review. Reports are informational and do not constitute licensed appraisals, structural engineering assessments, or coverage determinations.

  • Atlas reports are not substitutes for licensed professional assessments where required.
  • Report accuracy depends on available imagery, evidence, and property data quality.
  • LossStack makes no warranty regarding report completeness for any particular use.
  • Per-report charges apply upon order submission.

7. Echo Claim Intelligence

Echo uses claim evidence you submit to generate claim insights, summaries, and analysis. Echo responses are grounded in the evidence in the specific claim but are not a substitute for professional judgment, coverage analysis, or regulatory compliance. Echo may make errors. You are responsible for independently verifying any Echo output before relying on it for professional or claims decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LossStack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including reliance on Atlas reports, Echo outputs, or any other Platform feature. Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the fees you paid in the three months prior to the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-platform notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
